So, what exactly IS this site?

This is my online multimedia journal of my experiences with my first foal. Similar to A Baby Story on The Learning Channel, this site will follow the birth and early life of this foal.

I started this site merely as a way to share my experiences with friends and family who wouldn't be here for the birth. That didn't last long, as I soon found a need for an online resource for people looking to breed their mare, or expecting their first foal. The responses I've received since starting this site in February of 2000 have convinced me that I'm proving a valuable resource to others. Quite a neat achievement, when my goal was entertainment.

The first foal was due Feb. 24th, 2000, but didn't arrive until March 4th, 2000.
Foal #2 was due AND born on April 24th, 2001

I've created this site as an attempt to share my experience as well as provide information about home breeding and foaling. I'm quite interested in hearing from others out there who have done similar things or who are looking into breeding their horse or horses.
